Internship - Student/Families 

JA Internship Guidelines

Eligibility:

• Northwest Ohio Students who will be 19 years of age or younger at the start of their internship. 

  • students who graduated in 2023, are graduating in 2024 or will graduate in 2025

• Attend TWO JA Experiences

  • Participate in a JA Community Learning Experience (times & locations vary)

  • Attend JA Inspire - May 8, 2024 at the Glass City Center

Application Process

Step 1: Complete the JA Internship Interest Form

• • • Required by April 1, 2024

Step 2: Log in to the JANWO APP

• • • Details will be sent to you after completion of the interest form. 

    • Any information on experiences that you register for will be housed on the app.

Step 3: Complete the JA Student Application - link in JANWO App

Step 4: Complete the JA SMART Resume- link in JANWO App

Timeline

Monday, April 1, 2024- JA Student Applications & JA SMART Resumes due

Wednesday, May 8, 2024- Internship Interviews held between the company and student(s) at JA Inspire

Friday, May 31, 2024- Qualified students will be partnered with their JA Internship Company

• • Students are not guaranteed an internship and companies are not guaranteed an intern

June 3, 2024-June 7, 2024- JA/Student/Company/Parent (legal guardian) Pre-Internship Meeting scheduled

Monday, June 10, 2024 - Friday, August 9, 2024- Summer Internship Time Period

• • Some exceptions may be available to begin before June
